Children and teens grieving the death of a significant person in their life learn they are not alone

FOREST FALLS – More than 120 children and teens from San Diego County and southwest Riverside County attended Camp Erin San Diego, a free bereavement camp, July 27-29, in Forest Falls.

Camp Erin San Diego is a place of healing where children, ages 6 to 17, participate in traditional camp activities while learning how to work through their grief. Led by grief professionals and trained volunteers, Camp Erin provides an opportunity for youth to increase feelings of hopefulness, enhance their self-esteem and learn they are not alone.
