Hemet Police Department promotes five officers

The first phase of Hemet Police Department’s reorganization has begun under Police Chief Rob Webb with the promotion of five police officers including three in administrative positions.

The officers received their new badges and stripes were Edward Pust promoted to captain; Glen Brock promoted to captain; Nathan Miller promoted to lieutenant; Michael Hall promoted to sergeant and Art Paez promoted to corporal.

Webb took over as the city’s top police officer with the retirement of former Chief Dave Brown who made an unsuccessful run to become the Riverside County sheriff. Brown and Webb...
