Mayor Matt Rahn emphasizes public safety at State of the Temecula meetings across town

A thousand business owners and government officials gathered at Temecula's annual state of the city May 31, leaving the remaining 112,000 residents uninformed of the city's major projects. In hopes to reach the general public, Mayor Matt Rahn teamed up with three fire stations to host a series of State of Temecula meetings.

Rahn focused on a topic within his field of expertise, public safety, otherwise known as the Temecula SAFE initiative covering projects concerning economic growth, road, park, personnel, traffic, residential and commercial developments.
