The Old Town Temecula Gunfighters had their trailer robbed overnight, just in front of Saturday's Western Days celebrations in Temecula, at which they were scheduled to perform.

This time, the bank robbers were the ones feeling cheated and it wasn't funny at all.

The Old Town Temecula Gunfighters went on with the show at Temecula's Western Days celebration on Saturday, Sept. 15, despite waking up Saturday morning to find their props trailer had been stolen overnight.

"It was parked at the Temecula Valley Museum, the police knew, the museum knew, the city knew, it was all good," said Tim Kimble, also known as Dynamite Dick Clifton, of the gunfighters. "Somebody broke the lock and stole our whole town and most of our props.

"That kind of put a little rain on our parade this morning," Kimble said after the group entertained the crowd with a high noon bank robbery skit at the corner of Front and Main St. in Old Town Temecula as part of the day's celebrations.

Kimble said anyone with information about the 18-foot-long, white trailer should contact him at [email protected] or by calling (951) 837-0173.
