Tinsel Triathlon Foundation gains nonprofit status

HEMET – The Tinsel Triathlon Foundation recently received their 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Founded and governed by Connie Hall, Kayla Hall, Ronnie Toth, David Hall and Will Whelan, the foundation will work to engage challenged athletes, collegiates, underprivileged and youth into endurance and organized sporting events without barriers. The Tinsel Triathlon has waived fees to over 1,000 students and challenged athletes and the foundation will continue those efforts.

Since March 2018, the Tinsel Triathlon has donated to San Jacinto Unified School District’s Run United, Cops4Kids/Battle of the Badges, Challenged Athlete Foundation, West Valley High School Girls Volleyball, Hemet High School Football, Exceeding Expectation and the Hemet Police Officers Association.

The Tinsel Triathlon Foundation is dedicated to the belief that active people live healthier more fulfilling lives, the board said, and they believe regular exercise is a gateway to a positive, active and meaningful life.
