Temecula Outdoor Quilt Show covers Old Town, Oct. 6

Quilts line the railings of businesses along Old Town Temecula during the annual Outdoor Quilt Show, which will be held Saturday, Oct. 6.

TEMECULA – Quilting is an art form that was developed out of necessity. Used clothing and fabric earned a second life in quilts pieced by women sitting around fireplaces or kerosene lanterns.

The community is invited to check out the 20th annual Old Town Temecula Outdoor Quilt Show, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6.

A hop-on, hop-off trolley will carry visitors throughout Old Town Temecula as they feast their eyes on hundreds of quilts, and various venues throughout the day. Guests will see traditional quilts, modern quilts, applique quilts, art quilts, baby quilts, crazy quilts and...
