Children of staff members at the Vineyard Place memory care facility in Murrieta learn proper table manners and etiquette during an exclusive class, Sept. 22.

MURRIETA – Children ranging in age from elementary school students to teens learned which fork to use when eating a salad, the polite way to butter bread and whether it's courteous to put one's elbows on the dining table when they took an etiquette class Saturday, Sept. 22, at Vineyard Place, a memory care community at 24325 Washington Ave., in Murrieta.

The class was led by Angela Sturdivant, owner of Everyday Etiquette, a contemporary manners and protocol teaching organization. The youngsters who took part are the children of Vineyard Place staff. Sturdivant, the daughter of a community resident, is holding the session to thank them for their work.

Vineyard Place is operated by Anthem Memory Care.
