Students teach children how to manage Type 1 diabetes at Camp Conrad Chinnock

ANGELUS OAKS – Every summer since 2013, students from Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy have dedicated several days of their summer break volunteering at Camp Conrad Chinnock.

A comprehensive educational program located in Angelus Oaks, Camp Conrad Chinnock provides training to children ages 7 to 12 with Type 1 diabetes and their families by teaching them how to manage their medication, eat properly and integrate physical activity into their life.
