Fast-paced action leads to Hamilton loss

The Hamilton High School Bobcats cheer squad and the Bobcat junior cheerleaders perform a routine together at the Bobcats versus Nuview Bridge Knights home football game Thursday, Sept. 27.

The excitement was nonstop at the Hamilton High School Bobcat varsity football game held Thursday, Sept. 27.

The Bobcats succumbed to Nuevo's Nuview Bridge Early College High School Knights 32-26, but the battle was fast and furious, with bleacher-pounding thrills at every play.

Head coach Patrick McGowan reviewed the game.

"Our team earned over 400 yards of offense and held Nuview Bridge to under 250 yards of offense," he said. "It was the turnovers that cost us the game – we simply beat ourselves. Gabe Ward, No. 26, had a great game with one receiving touchdown from Anthony Garcia,...
