SJUSD lunches and breakfast are available now at no cost for students

SAN JACINTO – Students attending any San Jacinto Unified School District school site are now receiving free breakfast and lunch thanks to a program run through the California Department of Education.

The program began with the 2018-2019 school year and will continue each school day thereafter for at least four years.

“We were successful with our application to the California Department of Education to be part of the Community Eligibility Provision program where all enrolled students can receive their school day meals at no cost,” Tammy White, SJUSD Nutrition Services director, said....
