Cal Fire-Riverside County Fire Department Station 29 gets new truck

Inside the cab, radios, computers and gear are neatly arranged in the new Medic Patrol 29 truck at Fire Station 29 in Anza.

Anza's Cal Fire-Riverside County Station 29 has taken delivery of a brand-new tool to make rescues, medical calls, fires and other incidents a whole lot easier.

The new tool is a shiny red and chrome Medic Patrol truck, replacing the former Medic Squad 29 truck.

Built by Ferrara Fire Apparatus Inc. around a 2017 Ford F550XL 4-wheel-drive chassis and sporting a 6.7 liter Powerstroke V-8 diesel engine with 330 horsepower and 750 foot pounds of torque, this vehicle has the power to go just about anywhere and carry an enormous payload of men and equipment.
