Menifee medical student receives white coat at New York Institute of Technology

Brandon Dao of Menifee is a new medical student in a white coat at New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York.

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. – Brandon Dao of Menifee was among the medical students who received their first white coats at a recent New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine ceremony.

Students from the Long Island Old Westbury campus experienced this rite of passage signifying their official start in medical school, Aug. 15, at the Crest Hollow Country Club. Of the 295 new medical students, six were coated by alumni family members, known as legacy coaters, including physician and Assistant Professor Dr. Zachary Levokove, class of 1994, who coated his son Brandon Levokove....
