Hundreds of residents and visitors to Temecula's eighth annual Health & Community Resource Fair, Sept. 29, learned all about the latest information on health-related resources and service in and around the Temecula Valley.

The event offered live entertainment, health screenings and prize giveaways.

Those in attendance learned about the area's many free or low-cost resources and services available to residents through nonprofit organizations within the community. Many of these nonprofits were on hand to discuss their various services from health and wellness to special needs to veteran and military services and more.

Over 100 agencies were available providing information about available resources, including free health screenings, assessments and educational information. Residents were able to locate available resources for children and families with special needs, gather information on emergency preparedness and safety awareness for all and received free samples of products to improve overall health and wellness.
