Komen Inland Empire honors its founding members

Susan G. Komen Inland Empire celebrates its founding members, Sept. 28, at the First Ladies of Komen Inland Empire Tea, including from left to right, Dr. Sandra Finestone, board president of Susan G. MURRIETA – Twenty years ago, the friends and daughter of the late Charlene March joined forces to fight for a world free of breast cancer. They created Susan G. Komen Inland Empire in her memory and worked to fund services and research for other patients.

Their legacy was honored Sept. 28, at the First Ladies of Komen Inland Empire Tea at the Murrieta Library Garden of Verses, as community members gathered and reminisced about the early days of Susan G. Komen Inland Empire.
