Concerned residents hope to see improvements to state Route 371

With increased traffic has come a seeming escalation of incidents along Anza's state Route 371. Concerned area residents said that with reckless drivers, illegal maneuvers and road rage, accidents and fatalities seem to be on the rise.

The grumblings have come and gone on social media, fueling discussion on such Facebook groups as "NonDrivers" and "Anza Crime Watch," but the day that Lorraine Elmore was in a life-threatening accident, her husband Bud Elmore became an advocate to do something about it, he said.
