Firefighters make quick work of blaze in mobile home

PERRIS - Firefighters needed less than 30 minutes to extinguish a fire in Perris in the early hours of Thursday, Oct. 25.

Crews were called about 12:30 a.m. to the 70 block of Beverly Drive and the first engine company to arrive reported a double-wide mobile home well involved in fire, according to a statement from the Riverside County Fire Department.

A knockdown was declared at 12:54 a.m., the statement said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
