Community leaders spend Saturday morning cleaning up the community

Mayor Michael Perciful, Riverside County Sheriff's Capt. Leonard Purvis, Hemet Police Department Lt. Glen Brock, Hemet Fire Department Chief Scott Brown, Hemet Unified Superintendent Christi Barrett, Hemet-San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce board member Patricia Scott and various other community members and students from West Valley High School, Tahquitz High School, Western Center Academy and Hemet High School met Saturday, Oct. 6, at Diamond Valley Lake Northeast Trailhead to pick up trash.

HEMET – Hemet Unified School District is teaming up with the city of Hemet, Hemet Police Department, Riverside County Sheriff's Department, Hemet Fire Department, Hemet-San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce and Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians to host cleanup days around the community.
