Toilet paper donation event benefits needy in the community

Hundreds of partially unused rolls of toilet paper donated by Pechanga Resort Casino's hotel staff is donated to underserved residents and families in the Inland Empire during a distribution event organized by the Temecula-based nonprofit Project T.O.U.C.H. or Together Our Unity Conquers Homelessness, Oct. 19.

Ever wondered what happens to those half-used rolls of toilet paper from the hotel after check out?

Well, an event at one of Project T.O.U.C.H.'s fourplexes used for shared housing, answered that question last week when approximately 2,000 partially unused rolls of toilet paper, as well as tissue boxes, gently used bedding, food and even bathrobes donated by Pechanga Resort Casino were given away to Inland Empire organizations helping the area's underserved.
