Nearly 400 Special Olympic athletes from all over the Inland Empire compete for the gold in both soccer and softball Saturday, Oct. 20, at Big Dreams in Perris.

PERRIS – Big League Dreams in Perris played host to nearly 400 Special Olympic athletes Saturday, Oct. 20. The athletes came from all over the Inland Empire to compete for the gold in both soccer and softball. The day kicked off with an opening ceremony that celebrated the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics, followed by competition and awards presentations at the end of each division. There was also be an Olympic Village which provided entertainment such as a dunk tank, lawn games, music and much more for all to enjoy when they were not competing.
