According to reports from the Press-Enterprise, Menifee 24/7 and people at the scene, a sophomore football player for Heritage High School collapsed on the field prior to the Patriots' playoff game against Upland High School on Friday, Nov. 2.

The identity of the player — reported to be Dylan Dickie — was announced at the game after CPR was performed on the player and before he was transported to a local hospital.

The game has been postponed to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 at Upland High School.

According to the Heritage football team's Twitter account, Dickey was "awake and responding," as of 9 p.m.

He is reported to be in stable condition, according to multiple reports.
