Board of Supervisors' cannabis grow limits supports black market

Editor’s note; This letter was submitted to Anza Valley Outlook by the author, after he submitted a copy to the Riverside County Board of Supervisors.

Dear Editor, 

It does not seem fair to limit cannabis grow permits to 50 permits when over 2,000 families desire cannabis grow permits. This is the equivalent of satisfying only 2.5 percent of the demand.

This in reality keeps the black market alive and healthy.

Riverside County Ordinance 358 (Commercial cannabis) continues to ensure that the courts and jails will be busy and full of people that will be prosecuted by the district attorne...
