Fall Wienerfest delights doxie lovers

Wiener dogs descend upon Vail Headquarters for the annual Temecula Fall Wienerfest hosted by the Temecula Valley Dachshund Club, Nov. 4.

With their long, low silhouette, short stubby legs, big floppy ears and their bold personality, what's not to love about one of America's favorite breeds of dogs – the dachshund? These pint-sized marvels wowed the crowds gathered at the Temecula Valley Dachshund Club's second annual Fall Wienerfest at Vail Headquarters, Nov. 4, with their tricks, athletic ability and general adorableness.

Visitors to Wienerfest enjoyed family-friendly games, local vendors and services, raffles, door prizes and the club's 50/50 drawing, along with food and a beer garden for adults.
