9-year-old wins Junior Ninja role in series

She is only 9 years old, but she might challenge adult athletes in a series of challenges from free rock climbing and rope climbs to obstacle jumps and other feats. Her name is Madisen Asmus of Murrieta.

Not only is she an athlete, aptly named “The UniNINJA” on the Universal Kids network, she is the co-author of a book entitled “The Warrior’s Guide to G.I.R.L.S. – Grit, Intensity, Respect, Laser Focus and Strength.”

Madisen’s inspiration comes from American Ninja Warrior competitor Kevin Bull, who she met at a camp with her sister Hailey Asmus who has alopecia or spot baldne...
