The Riverside of California Redlands Pipe Band and the Riverside County Sheriff's Mounted Posse march toward the stage to present the colors at the 11th annual Veterans Day Ceremony held at the Golden Era Golf Course in San Jacinto Sunday, Nov. 11.

Hundreds of Hemet San Jacinto Valley veterans from World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War and the Middle East conflicts were honored by their families, friends and fellow veterans on Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov. 11.

Veterans dressed up in their blues, donned their badged military hats and pledged their fidelity to the nation. Active military men and women, on leave for the holidays, walked among the many veterans – veterans themselves from the continuing conflicts threatening the country.

So many missing, but never forgotten, were the bravest of the brave – World War I veterans.
