District: Robinson resigns as head football coach at Great Oak HS

Robbie Robinson resigned as head varsity football coach at Great Oak High School.

Great Oak High School head varsity football coach Robbie Robinson has officially tendered his resignation to school administration, according to a press release distributed by the Temecula Valley Unified School District Wednesday, Nov. 7.

Robinson has been the head varsity football coach since the 2009 season, taking over for the school's first-ever head coach, Scott Strosnider, following a lengthy coaching stint at Chaparral High School which saw the Pumas reach the CIF-SS title game twice. Before that, Robinson had a hand in five section titles while part of the staff at Vista High School...
