HS Girls' Volleyball: Local teams clipped in CIF State tournament, Temecula Valley still No. 1 seed

Temecula Valley, the No. 1-seeded team in the CIF State Division 1 bracket will host No. 2-seeded Foothill in their regional championship match this week.

A handful of local teams had their fate handed to them as the CIF State playoffs got underway last week, but Temecula Valley High School (22-7), the No. 1-seeded team for the Division 1 bracket, is still standing. The Lady Golden Bears have rolled through the state playoffs, so far, with sweeps of Canyon Crest Academy, Sherman Oaks' Notre Dame High School, The Bishop's School in La Jolla and will now host No. 2-seeded Foothill High School (24-4) in their regional championship match this week.

Also, on top of the local scene, are Ontario Christian High School and Beaumont High School's girl...
