MENIFEE – Menifee’s Economic Development Department announced Menifee Lakes Dental is the first local business to receive the Menifee Business Spotlight, a program that is a part of the B3 or Building Better Businesses, program. Menifee Lakes Dental Group is owned by dentist and Menifee resident, Dr. Kyle Poulsen, who opened his dental office in October 2017. Since then, the dental office has grown from five employees to 15 employees, and now also includes three dentists and two hygienists.

Menifee Lakes Dental Group is committed to providing excellent, affordable dental care, with extended hours to serve Menifee residents and neighbors in the surrounding communities, according to their website. Menifee Lakes Dental has participated in over a dozen community events including the Smile Generation Serve Day, which provides free dentistry to those in need, toy drives for Toys for Tots and food drives for the Menifee Valley Community Cupboard.

They also have made donations to many local and global nonprofit organizations. Mayor Bill Zimmerman said Menifee Lakes Dental is well-deserving of the city’s first Business Spotlight for their dedication to serving the Menifee Community, which is the core value of the Menifee Business Spotlight Program.

“Menifee Lakes Dental is a wonderful example of a local business providing more than just their services to the city. They are also becoming part of the community through volunteering and charity work, as well as assisting our youth programs in the city,” Zimmerman said. “The time and resources Menifee Lakes Dental provides in their community shows their level of commitment here, which proves how deserving they are of this recognition.”

Menifee’s Business Spotlight program highlights one local business in the city every month that has gone above and beyond the call of business to better their community. Chosen applicants are honored during a special presentation at a city council meeting and will receive a 30-second professional video production clip created by the Department of Economic Development and their team that will be showcased on the city’s site. Nominations are encouraged to recognize businesses in Menifee that contribute to the betterment of the Menifee community.
