IDYLLWILD - Search teams worked on Wednesday, Nov. 28 to find an 80-year-old Idyllwild man with Alzheimer's disease who wandered away from his home.

David Elliot Bradish was last seen Monday afternoon in the 54500 block of North Circle Drive, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Bradish does not drive, does not have a mobile phone, may have been walking a reddish-colored dog and his disappearance is out of character, according to family members, the Idyllwild Town Crier reported.

Bradish is white, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with receding gray hair and blue eyes. He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark pants, a black baseball cap and dark shoes.

More than 50 searchers were involved in "a large-scale ground search'' for Bradish early Wednesday morning, sheriff's Lt. Zachary Hall told the Idyllwild Town Crier.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Search and Rescue teams will head to Idyllwild this morning to assist in the search for Bradish.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to contact the sheriff's Hemet station at (951) 791-3400.
