Boy Scout Troop 319 replaces flags at Hemet's Gibbel Park

Several Anza Boy Scout Troop 319 members performed a good deed for the community Saturday, Nov. 17.

Scoutmaster Norman Faleono and Scouts Zack Vollen, Alex Nashon and Sale Faleono participated alongside other local volunteers in taking down and retiring all 1776 United States flags displayed in Gibbel Park in Hemet.

The flags had been placed there to honor veterans, and many of them had yellow ribbons attached with the names of local service members who lost their lives in the course of their service.
