Val Verde Unified School District Schools Place First in the Statewide Race to Submit

Citrus Hill and Rancho Verde high schools are top finishers in the California Student Aid Commission's annual Race to Submit competition.

SACRAMENTO – Citrus Hill and Rancho Verde high schools were honored Oct. 4, in Sacramento by the California Student Aid Commission for their students' completion rates with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and the California Dream Act applications. Both high schools, which are in the Val Verde Unified School District, were recognized as top finishers in the statewide Race to Submit competition.

Rancho Verde High School placed first in the state for FAFSA completion in the large schools category for schools with 701 seniors and greater with 92.4 percent completion, and Citrus...
