More than 25,000 people are expected to jam into Old Town Temecula for Santa's Electric Light Parade Saturday night.

For more than 25 years, folks have been coming to Old Town Temecula to kick off the start of the holiday season by cheering on the Santa's Electric Light Parade at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.

Forward-thinking residents plan ahead, get there early and sip on hot coffee or cocoa while sitting in strategically placed folding chairs to get the best view possible.

"This parade is a signature city of Temecula special event and a tradition to so many families in our community," Dawn Adamiak, community services manager for Temecula, said. "Make sure to dress warm and bring your holiday cheer."
