Hemet Sunset Rotary joins SJVA Interact Club at Harvest Festival

HEMET – The Hemet Sunset Rotary jointed the San Jacinto Valley Academy Interact Club at the school's annual Harvest Festival, Nov. 11. Interact Club students sold grilled cheese sandwiches, chips and glow-in-the-dark hair clips and made over $250. Sunset Rotary donated all the supplies, plus two cooks, Curt Welshon and Brian Flanagan.

Interact Club is a high school club that is affiliated with Rotary International. The SJVA chapter is guided by Samantha Lazear. Interact teaches children the importance of giving to their community through service. The SJVA Interact Club has helped with tr...
