Batter Up Charity event held locally to help special needs baseball program

The Batter Up Charity Baseball Tournament, being held December 7-9, will benefit the Champions League, a special needs division that is a part of the Temecula Youth Baseball League.

Temecula's Comprehensive Autism Center is teaming up with the Champions League of Temecula Youth Baseball (TYB) to hold a Batter Up Charity Baseball Tournament the weekend of December 7-9.

The Champions League of TYB has been around since 2012 and is a league dedicated to teaching the game of baseball to the special needs children in our community. Unfortunately, funds have not been readily available and there have been talks of shutting down this division. This would be devastating to current and future players and their families in our community as they may already have limited resources...
