HS Boys' Basketball: Eagles win BattleZone, sink Centennial with seconds to go

The Rancho Christian High School boys' varsity basketball team is once again looking to make a statement.

The Eagles, who won the CIF Division 5 Championship two years ago, only lost five games last season, claiming the South Valley League title on their way to qualifying for the CIF Southern Section Open Division playoffs. Though they dropped a back-and-forth game to Sierra Canyon High School in the first round, the Eagles will have the same mental approach this year in their quest to return to the postseason, with a slight shift of focus on being a more aggressive team on the court.
