Local plumber assists people in Boston following natural gas explosions

Aguanga resident Steve Gardner responds to a nationwide search for qualified plumbers to assist in the rebuilding of the natural gas structures in the small towns near Boston that were devastated by natural gas explosions in September.

Local plumber and owner of Elect Plumbing and Drain of Aguanga, Steve Gardner answered a call to assist in rebuilding the pipes and gas structures that were destroyed in the tragic natural gas explosions that occurred in September in the Boston area.

According to a preliminary report by the National Transportation Safety Board, a series of explosions and fires occurred Sept. 13, about 4 p.m., after high-pressure natural gas was released into a low-pressure gas distribution system in the Northeast region of the Merrimack Valley in Massachusetts.
