San Jacinto purchases historic Vosburg Hotel property

The long vacant and blighted historic Vosburg Hotel property in the center of San Jacinto has finally been purchased by the city at a price of $1,080,000, City Manager Ron Roberts announced recently.

The actual purchase agreement was made during the city council's closed session Aug. 27 but was not made public until the Dec. 4 regular meeting. The approval was made initially by three of the city council members with Councilman Scott Miller and Alonzo Ledezma not participating due to conflicts. Escrow closed Nov. 26 after no environmental conflicts were found.
