CORONA – As it has since 2002, Pardee Homes is making the holiday season a bit warmer and jollier with its Holiday Giving campaign, which the homebuilder dedicates to the temporarily homeless and families in crisis. In each of the company's homebuilding regions, employees decide where to put the campaign's available dollars. In its Inland Empire region, Pardee Homes targeted two local organizations for holiday giving – HomeAid Inland Empire and Carol's Kitchen.

This year, the Pardee Inland Empire team served Thanksgiving meals to the homeless at Carol's Kitchen in Beaumont, and the team assembled over 200 "care kits" for the homeless that will be distributed by HAIE to homeless veterans, men and women throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties during the holiday season.

"I sincerely appreciate the support I received from Pardee Homes' Inland Empire Division President Mike Taylor and Vice President of Marketing and Product Development, Matt Sauls during my six years as executive director, as well as my friends Peter Altuchow and Carol Cavazos who spearheaded a volunteer event one morning in November when employee team members put together more than 200 care kits for us to distribute to the homeless this holiday season," Ray Osborne of HomeAid Inland Empire said.

"Community giving is a core value of Pardee Homes, and while it happens all year, Holiday Giving holds a special place," Mike Taylor, division president for Pardee Homes' Inland Empire region, said. "Lending a hand is especially significant this time of year and is tremendously rewarding for all of us at Pardee Homes.

"The holiday giving program has become a bright spot in the corporate culture of the company, allowing employees to celebrate the spirit of the season and the company's ongoing commitment to supporting the communities in which we build. The giving spirit is alive and well all year at Pardee Homes, but during the holidays, our efforts have special meaning knowing we are helping families and serving the communities in which we live, work and build homes," Taylor said.
