'Be Smart, Eat Smart,' Jan. 10, at the Temecula library

Residents hear from registered dietician Lorie Brendecke about how to read nutrition labels and make good food choices at a program at the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library, Jan. 10.

TEMECULA ─ Do residents know what's in their food? Join Lorie Brendecke, a registered dietician for Riverside County, as she explains not only how to read nutrition labels but also how to use that information to make better food choices. "Be Smart, Eat Smart" takes place Thursday, Jan. 10, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library, 30600 Pauba Road.

Learn the ins and outs of organic foods as well as how to fight against weight gain, high blood pressure and diabetes. Start the year with a new tradition of good nutrition.
