Murrieta markets itself as the hub of the region with Explore Murrieta

Courtesy is a one-stop shop for potential tourists to learn about the city and its offerings and plan their visit.

Last month, Patrick Ellis, CEO of the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, came before the Murrieta City Council to announce the launching the city's first-ever tourism brand.

Explore Murrieta, which was launched Nov. 7, is coupled with a creative campaign, "Pairs Well with Adventure" and celebrates the city's location centrally within the region's many tourism offerings.

The concepts being promoted here are impressive. Like most big efforts of any kind, one of the key elements is a big initial push to get it off the ground, and then a constantly sustained effort to keep it flying. Easier said than done. But,what I have read in this article makes me believe there's some real energy behind it all. I'm a believer.
