For all the mothers and fathers that promised their children that they would go ice skating during the Christmas break from school – this is your last warning.

Temecula On Ice will close Sunday, Jan. 6, and that means there are only three days left to let them enjoy the picturesque rink in front of Temecula City Hall and overlooking Old Town Temecula.

Photographer Michael Bays made the trip last week to shoot some locals enjoying a spin on the rink on a bright, sunny winter's day.

The rink will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 4-5 and from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6. Times are subject to change without notice.

It costs $12 to skate for an unlimited amount of time, but skaters can't leave and come back. Skate rentals are $5, and it's $8 to rent a Bobby skating aid. No refunds on all sales.
