Four injured in early morning, two-vehicle crash in San Jacinto

SAN JACINTO - Two people were freed from the wreckage of a two-vehicle crash in San Jacinto on Saturday, Jan. 5.

Firefighters responded at 2:30 a.m. to the 20000 block of Gilman Springs Road, near the Golden Era Golf Course, and located two crashed vehicles off the road, according to a statement from the Riverside County Fire Department.

In addition to the two victims freed from the wreckage, two other victims were injured in the crash, the statement said. All four were taken to a hospital, three with minor injuries, one with moderate injuries.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
