Anza Library crafts offers fun for the family throughout holiday season

Sebastian Benson shows off his picture frame art at the Anza Library, where crafting events were held in December.

The Anza Library was a hub of Christmas activity in the weeks preceding the holiday.

"This December at the library, we had several different crafts, one of which ran almost the whole month," librarian Chantel Yarrow said. 

From Dec. 4 through Dec. 22, library staff hosted a picture frame art craft inspired by Yarrow's aunt.

"There is a story behind this craft," Yarrow said. "Sometime in 2017, I was at my grandma's and saw a picture on her wall. It was something my aunt made when she was younger, and it looked like stained glass. She colored flowers, and where the flowers and their stems we...
