Family fun abounds at Temecula Grape Drop

Families enjoy a giant slide while celebrating the new year during the annual Temecula New Year's Eve Grape Drop.

Family fun was everywhere at Temecula's annual Grape Drop, Monday, Dec. 31.

The city paid homage to the New Year using its favorite fruit as a focal point for the family-friendly event, where live music, dancing, a giant slide and ice skating made the night complete.

Danielle Arribe, City Beat Band, Frienz Band and Midnight Ride, all gave live musical performances while children and adults alike frolicked in the "Kids Zone," making hats, having their faces painted and riding down the giant slide.
