One dead, two injured in two-vehicle crash in Hemet

HEMET (CNS) - One person was killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash in Hemet, authorities said.

Firefighters responded just after 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11 to Highway 74, just west of the Cranston Fire Station, and located two vehicles crashed into a tree, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, the fire department said. The third victim refused further medical care.

The ages and genders of the victims were not disclosed.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
