Afghanistan War veteran receives golf chair

Lake Riverside Estates resident and four-tour war veteran Sgt. William Hamlett received a Paramobile from the Stand Up and Play Foundation, and he and his wife Krystle took delivery Sept. 11.

Hamlett served three tours to Iraq and one to Afghanistan before he was medically retired in 2015. Golf was a sport that he and his wife enjoyed together, he said, but due to his service-related injuries it was no longer an option.
