Sheriff's homicide detectives investigate Perris homicide

PERRIS - A man was shot to death at a home in Perris and homicide detectives were looking for a suspect, authorities said.

The shooting was reported about 7 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 in the area of Ruby and Turquoise drives, Sgt. Steve Brosche of the Riverside County Sheriff's Homicide Unit said.

"The male was later identified as Carlos Martin-Cabrera, a 29-year-old from Perris,'' Brosche said.

"The suspect is still outstanding and investigators are actively working all leads,'' he said.
