Firewood safety tips keep homes safe

As winter progresses, cold temperatures and rainy forecasts become more normal. Many people in the Anza Valley heat their homes with wood, a renewable biofuel that is readily available and affordable.

Using firewood as a main heating fuel means becoming familiar with its heating properties, storage, measurements and safety rules.
