Be prepared for earthquakes

TEMECULA – Those little shakes and rumbles that people hear or feel often fortunately are only momentarily frightening. Yet, most Californians know that that a major earthquake could happen at any time. Are they really prepared, however?

Sam DiGiovanna, one of the most respected fire chiefs in the nation, author and national firefighter coach, sums up the warning to everyone living in earthquake-prone California.

“Remember, it’s not a matter of ‘if’ an earthquake strikes but ‘when,’” he said.
