Linfield Christian School's Drake Charles loses battle with ALS

Drake Charles, the former head of school for Linfield Christian School in Temecula, died Friday, Jan. 18, after a tough battle with Lou Gehrig's disease or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

The Temecula community and those from surrounding cities are mourning the loss of Drake Charles, the former head of school for Linfield Christian School. Charles, who has been a prominent member of the school and church at Linfield Christian for many years, suffered from Lou Gehrig's disease or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

Friends, family and administration from the school will be working on a press release in the coming days, but the school did have this message over the weekend:
