Paradise Rise! aims to help victims of California's deadliest fire

A single-file line of crosses honors the people who lost their lives in the Paradise Fire.

It has been just over two months since California's deadliest wildfire struck the tiny town of Paradise claiming the lives of 85 people and decimating the town. As residents pick up the pieces, one local group hopes to help with its new initiative, Paradise Rise!

"Paradise Rise! is a vision that I had in helping the people of Paradise after the fire," L. Paul Bernard, pastor of the Ten27 church in Winchester and faculty advisor to the Azusa Pacific University Murrieta Psychology Club, said.
